Biography

Sophie Chavanes advises on corporate law, mergers & acquisitions and private equity, as well as corporate law and commercial contracts. She has also developed an expertise in international sports arbitration.

Sophie is regularly involved in due diligence reviews for business acquisitions, preparation of all contracts related to the sale and acquisition of businesses (letters of intent, memoranda of understanding, share purchase agreements, representations and warranties, shareholders’ agreements) and business operations. She also advises on corporate law issues and drafts relevant contracts (general terms and conditions, service agreements, distribution agreements, franchising agreements) as well as commercial lease agreements.

Sophie is active in the same areas at the pre-litigation stage and in litigation.

Thanks to her excellent command of English, she is able to work efficiently for an international clientele.
