Biography

Uwe is mainly active in an advisory capacity.

Uwe advises the firm’s clients on mass redundancies, restructuring, due diligence (employment law aspects) and employee participation. He also advises on the negotiation of collective bargaining agreements, the establishment, information and consultation of employee representatives, all procedures related to the organization of working time, the drafting of employment contracts, the implementation of short- and long-term remuneration schemes, supplementary pension schemes, operating instructions, etc.

His expertise also includes issues relating to executives and corporate office holders. In particular, he advises the firm’s clients on issues relating to the link between the employment contract and the corporate office, the participation of directors in the pôle emploi regime, the terms and conditions of employment of corporate office holders and their appointment and revocation.

Uwe’s clients are French and international, medium-sized companies and large corporations from various sectors, mainly heavy industry, chemicals and luxury goods. Uwe is a native German speaker, admitted to the bars of Paris, Berlin and New York and regularly advises foreign groups on employment law aspects of their operations in France.
